The conference will be held at Gilching (Germany), a townlet 28 km away from the centre of Munich, in the western outskirts. The Munich airport “Franz-Josef-Strauss” has numerous air connections to locations all over the world. Using suburban trains (S8) you can directly reach Gilching within one 1 hour. In Munich there also exist a Central Station and a Coach Terminal close to the Central Station, which both are approached by services from locations all over Europe.
Gilching is directly connected to the centre of Munich (Central Station: 35 minutes) by suburban trains (S8), which go every 20 minutes all the day (till 1 am). There are two suburban train stations (Gilching-Argelsried and Neugilching) from which the lecture hall can be reached by walking only 5 or 10 minutes. The venue is the Adult Education Centre Gilching (vhs Gilching) & Observatory Gilching, situated in the southern part of the town. Close to the conference location (ca 1.5 km) a motorway (E97) allows access to E-routes.
